Under the supervision of higher-level personnel, the Golf Course Superintendent 2 manages three, 9-hole golf courses at Sunken Meadow State Park. Duties include but are not limited to:
oImplement fertilizer, pesticide and seeding programs for the golf course; oWork with other supervisors and golf course superintendent(s) to plan daily maintenance activities as well as long-range projects; oPlan short and long-range projects to improve condition of the golf course/facility e.g., drainage, sod and sand trap projects; oPlan and supervise work crews' daily assignments; oSchedule employees to ensure all shifts are covered; oApply fertilizer and pesticides according to supervisor's instructions, product label instructions and DEC regulations. oMake recommendations regarding operating times and clubhouse operations. oRespond to customer concerns as needed. oMake recommendations for equipment needs and purchases. oMake recommendations for capital improvements on golf course. oPerform purchasing and procurement duties for supplies as needed. oPerform subordinate performance evaluations and reviews as needed. oCoordinate and submit maintenance work orders as needed such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, etc.

Salary Range:
From $78366 to $98418 Annually
Minimum Qualification
Six years' experience in planning, coordinating, directing, and supervising the maintenance of a golf course and adjoining grounds. College education in turf agronomy, golf course maintenance or equivalent may be substituted for up to four years' experience on a year-for-year basis. Training in turf management may be substituted for up to two years' experience at the rate of 20 Continuing Education Units (CEU) equal to one year of education (10 contract hours of training = 1 CEU). A maximum of four years of education/training may be substituted for experience. It is the responsibility of each applicant to accurately describe their experience and demonstrate that they meet minimum qualifications and agency needs.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
